Bushwick, with its love of all things sexual and free love, is undeniably the perfect place to hold a Full Moon Festival. And yet, the neighborhood exhibits a sort of bashfulness about it by claiming that the event is taking place in “East Williamsburg,” which is, as we all know, a made up real estate term.

The organizers of the event, Malana Eccstassy, a 34-year-old from Ibiza, and Mickey Nero, a 39-year-old from Catania, decided to migrate the festival from places like Governors Island¬†because “Bushwick–er, East Williamsburg, is the fun capital of Brooklyn,” according to Eccstassy. “East Williamsburg,” of course, is right off the Jefferson stop on Scott Avenue at Brooklyn Mirage.

Regular attendees of the festival were also pleased to learn that in addition to the location being changed, music by the Dirty Slores will help furnish the perfect soundtrack for getting sexual and relishing indulgence. “I’ve been going to the festival since it, like, started, and I know this is gonna be the best, most crowded, most shit show one yet,” mused Corla Orgiastique, a 24-year-old who sells hemp products for a living. Buy your insanely priced tickets to join in on the full moon orgy while you still can.
