With the positive vibes surrounding the “gay community” at this time, it’s no wonder the faction has taken it upon themselves to make demands wherever and whenever they can. Thus, Little Mo, an Asian-inspired outpost run by Little Skip’s, has been the latest target of homosexual contempt.
Because the name of the establishment refers to the shortened version of “homo,” gay men and women alike are rallying for the owner of Little Mo, Helena Tsing, a 33-year-old of Vietnamese descent, to alter the name to something a little more politically correct. “We’re thinking maybe something like Little Bro, Little Ho or Little Flo, something that will still keep the ‘integrity’ of the original name,” stated the leader of the Committee to Change Little Mo’s Name, Brandon Mondrovian, a 23-year-old from Ohio.
When Tsing was called for a quote, she merely harumphed as if to indicate she would change the name of her restaurant over her dead body. The Committee is focused on getting Momo to change its name as well. Whether either business will cave to the pressure remains to be seen.
