Considering that the real estate term “Bedwick” exists, it’s not any grand source of astonishment to learn that the recent K2 overdose epidemic in Bed-Stuy is quickly and steadily trickling into the Bushwick vicinity.
“After the outbreak in Bed-Stuy, we were soon alerted to a mass corpsing, of sorts, on Wilson Avenue, right off that stop. I guess there’s still not much going on over there, or at least not enough for people to find other things to do besides synthetic drugs,” commented the chief police officer on the case, Martin Stricte, a 39-year-old who has never shot a black man.
While the Myrtle-Broadway area is already referred to as “K2 Heaven,” it’s evident that said jurisdiction of “paradise” is rapidly expanding further into Bushwick. One Bushwickian, who preferred to be addressed only as “Spice,” explained, “When drinking and normal weed get too boring, K2 is the party drug to bust out.” And we all know that no Bushwickian can resist indulgence.
