While the Meatpacking District has long been present in Williamsburg, it has only gradually been forcing its way into Bushwick territory. Now, thanks to Lorenzo’s on the corner of Troutman Street and Wyckoff Avenue, the floodgate to Meatpacking douchery has been firmly opened.

Financed by the duo best known for bringing “Farto” to Bushwick, Ron Boroughtransitioner and Larry Moneybags, Lorenzo’s is the sort of obnoxious arena you would expect to see on, say, the Park Avenue side of the Upper East Side (whose undertones are already, as we know, infiltrating Bushwick). Kids run rampant on some days, while others, the bros from Pine Box like to trickle in for their trolling fix, based largely on talking about how much money they make.

As for the food, well, it can best be described as “Latin-inspired” grab bag. For you see, as with most things Manhattan-helmed, the purpose of going to a place is more about being seen than what the place actually offers beyond putting one on display. As more Manhattan money trickles into Bushwick, expect even more drunkorexic tendencies due to lack of adequate sustenance options.
