Milo’s Yard may have caused a recent outrage for not actually having an accessible backyard, but this has, apparently, not been enough to stop the New York City Board of Landmarks to deem the bar worthy of “mile”post status based on its rare and robust collection of pinball machines located toward the back of the establishment.

“We feel that the commitment Milo’s Yard has shown toward the nostalgia millennials crave is truly noble, and deserves to be immortalized with a giant plaque made out of vintage pinballs,” stated head of the board John Diksuk, a 41-year-old from Montauk. Manager Milo de Milo humbly accepted the award by gushing, “I just knew Milo’s Yard was going to be what would put Ridgewood on the map.”
