A new production company called Vacuous Rat has set up shop near Scholes and Meserole. Rumors have been swirling over who the potential owner of the company could be–ranging from David Lynch to Miley Cyrus (though the latter seems more plausible).
A representative from the company, Lana Loquacious, stated, “Vacuous Rat has had its eye on someplace off the Montrose stop for some time now. We’re shooting a pilot that’s Broad City meets Gia.” Even though no network has picked up the script or expressed any interest whatsoever in the concept, an exclusive source tells The Burning Bush that approximately $400,000 dollars has gone into the making of the first episode.
When Loquacious was asked to give some further insight into the project, she warbled, “It’s about edgy teens living in a dumpster. The clincher: They’re not addicted to drugs. It’s going to knock Lena Dunham’s dick off when she sees it.”
The details on casting have been equally as fuzzy. The only name being bandied at the moment is Amanda Bynes, and we’re not sure if she’s supposed to play one of the teens or perhaps some sort of mother role who owns a thrift store near the dumpster. While The Burning Bush was not able to pin down exact starring actors, we managed to learn the show’s title: Dumpster Thriving. Stay tuned for more info on what network or public access channel it will air on, as well as a potential Kickstarter website to fund more episodes.
