You may think Matthew Silver is an unbuyable performance artist who is genuinely “weird,” but think again. Shocking images leaked to The Burning Bush reveal that Silver is not what he appears. While he may have long cultivated the persona of being a “kooky” guy just “doing it for the love,” the truth about what he really does in his free time has come out.
“I first noticed Matthew suspiciously riding the Q train. But I had to do a double take to make sure it was him. He was dressed in a royal blue suit and carrying a briefcase,” stated longtime friend, Marshall Donato, a half-Jew/half-Italian living off the Graham stop who makes the daily transfer at Union Square to get to Midtown. “I didn’t approach him the first time, I was too shocked.”
It wasn’t until Donato and a number of his other Brooklyn-based business cohorts spotted Silver walking into the MetLife building, of all places, on Park Avenue that they had no choice but to confront him about his secret life as a businessman. “When we went up to him, though, he acted life a totally different person who had no idea who we were–or even who he was, for that matter.” Can it be that Matthew Silver blacks out in order to make money, or is he simply the most in denial man in Bushwick? Try to find out when you ask him as he eats Le Pain Quotidien in Bryant Park.
