If you haven’t noticed the Modelo billboard on Bogart that’s replaced the Move to Detroit one, maybe you’ve been stumbling home a little too late at night to notice it. Regardless, a shocking revelation offered up by recently fired Taqueria El Fogon 2 employee, Sandoval Bellaco, has given insight into why Modelo was really allowed a spot on the highly foot trafficked area.
Bellaco, who got fired after getting caught putting an “A” in place of the first “O” in Fogon yet again, leaked the following info exclusively to The Burning Bush: “Modelo basically came in, said they’d pay our rent if we let them use the side of our building for their ad and the rest was history.”
So there you have it. An open and shut case of bribery, impure motivations and the general knavery running rampant in this town. Is nothing sacred anymore? Not even the integrity of Mexican food?
