With the California presence in Bushwick growing evermore strong, the oversaturated competition in weed delivery services has left residents with plenty of aromas and flavors to choose from when it comes to their ganja.
One of the most successful delivery services, Hope in Dope, has spiked its sales even higher with the recent release of a sriracha-flavored joint that “makes you truly appreciate life,” according to one customer, Daryl Fogg, a 22-year-old Brooklyn College student who buys once a week from his favorite employee, Gerry Haze, a 34-year-old ex-pizza delivery man.
“Delivery has always been my calling,” explained Haze. “I like seeing people’s faces light up when I bring them what they’ve been waiting for. Weed delivery was a natural progression from pizza. And, of course, I’m such a gourmand that the sriracha flavor came to me easily.” It even led to Haze’s promotion to lead delivery man, whatever that means. The shipment of sriracha joints arrives at the beginning of every month and sells out instantaneously. In fact, the local zest for sriracha in this form has, unfortunately for Cameron Spyce, caused a dip in sriracha soap dispenser sales.
