There’s been a lot of scandals afoot on Bogart Street lately. The most recent addition to the pile-up of controversy is two For Sale signs being put out on the vacant building that was slated to be a rest home, but has since shifted gears entirely due to the Fountainhead Brothers being highly involved in other projects.
While Henry and Horatio were unable to comment on how much they plan to sell the building for, they did give insight into why they’re billing the space as a hotel and a storefront. “We want to give Bushwick it’s own Ace Hotel. While Mary Meyer obviously isn’t going to fulfill the role of Opening Ceremony, there is opportunity for another boutique store, like Alter, to come in and take advantage of the location,” stated Henry Fountainhead.
Horatio, the money-minded between the two, added, “The second we put up those signs, the calls were flooding through. Now we just have to sift through the best offers.” Invariably, this is going to fuck over New York Loft Hostel, whose bread and butter is Europeans. But, as everyone knows, Europeans will much prefer an Ace Hotel-like establishment to spend their money on than a place with a creepy bar duo.
